WABA’s activities in Ethiopia have inspired both political and community leaders to throw their support to the initiative in preparations for the MEGA events coming soon.According to the President of ACISA Solomon Bereh, the WABA campaign in Ethiopia has attracted many of the country’s top leaders.
Bereh who doubles as the WABA Commissioner to both Ethiopia and Canada has articulated diversity and inclusion in opening doors for youth to grow boxing in Ethiopia. The excitement is so big that they have made WABA’s replica belts to advance their cause in the country of the Kings.
The activities in the horn of Africa, Ethiopia are taking place when preparations for the WABA Gulf Economic Council (GCC) in Kuwait is in a haste process.The WABA GCC Franchise would be an autonomous entity to sanction combat sports in the GCC countries and Qatar.
In other good news, the WABA is in the process of launching its Africa headquarters in one of the SADC member countries for more diversity and efficiency. The announcement of the location in the SADC county will be made SOON.
